Job summary

Netbox Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a permanent tramping role in Kent. You will carry out UK-wide deliveries and overnight stays, with training on Walking Floor available. The position offers full-time, permanent employment with regular overtime opportunities.

You must have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card, and 2+ years of Class 1 experience. Walking Floor experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• 2+ years' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Willingness to do overnight stays and tramping.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle and trailer.
• Carrying out UK deliveries and collections.
• Daily vehicle checks and load securement.
• Completing delivery paperwork and tachograph records.
• Adhering to drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Maintaining professional relationships with customers.
