Müller Market Drayton Depot is seeking an experienced HGV Driver Trainer to develop drivers, improve road safety and have a tangible daily impact. This permanent role involves training LGV drivers across the business and supporting compliance initiatives.

You will deliver practical and classroom training, support DCPC and inductions, and work with Transport and Compliance teams to promote best practices. A strong safety focus and experience with telematics are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as driver trainer or hands-on training delivery.
• Knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations.
• Experience using tachographs and compliance systems.

Are you an experienced HGV Driver Trainer ready to develop drivers, improve road safety, and make a real impact every day? This permanent HGV Driver Trainer opportunity at our Müller Market Drayton Depot will see you support and develop our LGV drivers across the business.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver engaging driver training and development
• Support DCPC training and new driver inductions
• Promote safe and fuel‑efficient driving
• Carry out driver assessments and post‑incident training
• Help improve driver performance using KPIs and telematics
• Work closely with Transport and Compliance teams to ensure best practice

What we’re looking for:

• Strong communicator with hands‑on driver training experience
• Confident delivering both practical and classroom‑based training
• Excellent knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations
• Experience using digital tachographs and compliance systems
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an LGV C+E driver
• Driver CPC
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) with no more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• IOSH or First Aid
• Experience with telematics (Connexus/Tachomaster)
