Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Class 1 driver based from the Middlesbrough hub to deliver containers across the country using skeleton trailers with Mirror Cam truck experience. You will operate safely, perform vehicle checks, and manage delivery slots and paperwork.

The role offers PAYE hourly pay and ongoing assignments with holiday entitlement and pension provisions.

Qualifications

• Hold a C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Experience with skeleton trailers.
• Experience driving Mirror Cam trucks.

Responsibilities

• Drive across the country from the Middlesbrough hub to deliver containers using skeleton trailers.
• Carry out all vehicle checks and report defects.
• Meet delivery slots and use the scheduling website to plan runs.
• Complete delivery notes and related paperwork.

Job description

The Best Connection are working with our Middlesbrough based client to source additional

for their expanding operation.

There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available

The role:

Starting at approximately 17.00 from the Middlesbrough hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers.

There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved

The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle

All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.

Achieving delivery slots

Using website-based delivery scheduling

Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork

The candidate:

C+E (Class One) Licence

Experience using "skelly" trailers

Experience in driving "Mirror Cam" Trucks

£17.10 per hour (PAYE) for all hours worked
