Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting Class 1 CE drivers for a Bowburn-based role offering day shifts with optional nights out. Drivers will manage trunking tasks, work with pre-loaded vehicles and planned routes, and strap loads as required.

Nights out are optional, with start times around 6am depending on destinations. ROLE IS PAYE, with rates: Mon-Fri £14.25/h, Sat £16.00/h, Sun £17.00/h, and £25 night-out allowance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 CE driving licence
• Comfort with night-out shifts
• Trunking experience preferred

he Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Bowburn, who are a large and well-established haulage company.

Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for Class 1, CE drivers who can work day shift with optional nights out.

The start times do vary pending destination however, this tends to be around 6am starts.

In this role you will be doing:

• A to B trunking
• Pre-loaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
• Strapping the load
• No handball involved
• Nights out optional

This is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rates:

• Monday to Friday £14.25 per hour
• Saturday £16.00 per hour
• Sunday £17.00 per hour
• £25.00 night out allowance
