The Lockwood Group is a growing family business offering HGV Class 1 (C+E) night-shift roles across the UK. You will join a supportive team with training from experienced assessors and mentors to help you succeed.

We provide a competitive base salary of £42,900 per annum plus a bonus, funded CPC training, a company pension, 28 days of annual leave, PPE and uniform, and ongoing development opportunities in a modern fleet environment.

Formación

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence required or valid at time of application.
• Digital tachograph knowledge and CPC card a must.
• Understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Complete general haulage deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Work Monday to Friday night shifts.
• Operate driver technology including electronic PODs and perform digital walk‑around checks with training provided.
• Deliver excellent customer service at pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain clear communication with Transport Team.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.

As our business continues to expand, we're looking for professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team on Monday to Friday night shifts.

Whether you're an experienced driver or you've recently passed your Class 1 test, we'd love to hear from you. Our dedicated Driver Assessors and Mentors will provide the support and training you need to succeed.

Pay & Benefits

£165.00 per shift

• Basic salary: £42,900 per annum

The Role

What We're Looking For

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence


• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card


• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations


• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Previous Class 1 experience is desirable, but newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
