Job summary

Driver Hire Lancaster is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client’s team in Heysham on an ongoing basis. The role involves dock collection and general haulage with a strong customer service focus.

This position offers day work with weekly pay, free on-site parking, and overtime rates after 8 hours. A valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Digi Card are required, with at least 12 months of Class 1 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi Card.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• No major endorsements (IN, DR, DU, CD).

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to delivery points.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with requirements.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, transport regulations and working time directives.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Day Work

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team working out of Heysham on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for work through the week. This work mainly involves dock collection at Heysham. General haulage experience would be beneficial. As a driver representing Driver Hire, you will be able to contact us 24/7 for any support you may need.
