Job summary

Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Tramper Drivers for Monday to Friday work with a reputable local haulage company. We are also open to speaking to drivers looking for day work.

This is a Monday to Friday tramping role (or day work).

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 licence (CE) and CPC qualification.
• Possess a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 General Haulage vehicles to dock locations.
• Perform dock collections and curtainsider work as required.
• Work Monday to Friday with four nights out per week.
• Deliver reliable, on-time service with a professional approach.

• 4 nights out a week

Pay & Benefits

• £17.20 per hour (PAYE ADV)
• £30 tax-free night out allowance

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence

• Previous Class 1 driving experience
