Job summary

Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to support our client in the Milnthorpe area. Shift start times are around 19:30. You will perform Class 1 night trunk runs, typical hub deliveries, and conduct safety checks, reporting any defects to the Transport team.

We offer £22.41 per hour PAYE ADV, weekly pay, and 24/7 support from the Driver Hire Lancaster team. Candidates should have a valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and a digital tachograph card, plus excellent

• Valid Class 1 (CE) licence required.
• Valid CPC qualification required.

• Good customer service skills.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Class 1 night trunk runs and hub deliveries.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift walk around checks and load restraining procedures.
• Report any vehicle defects immediately to the Transport team.

£22.41 per hour - Our drivers typically earn £1000 a week (based on 5 day week)

Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Night Drivers to assist our client in the Milnthorpe area. Shift start times are 19:30AM. We are looking for experienced drivers with great people facing skills and who has a Health & Safety focused mindset. Ongoing work available for the right drivers.

The Role

• Class 1 Night Trunks
• Typically Hub Runs
• Carry out walk around & safety checks, ensuring correct method for strapping loads
• Reporting any defects immediately to the Transport team

Requirements
