Job summary

Culina Logistics is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 driver to join our national transport team. You will deliver palletised goods to distribution centres across England and Wales and collect stock from suppliers, contributing to reliable, safe service on time.

The role offers permanent full-time hours, with a variety of shift windows and premiums; nights out are compensated, and a supportive team environment drives high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence.
• Current DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Live within 30-mile commutable distance of the site (BS11 0YH).
• Newly qualified Class 1 drivers will be considered if attitude and willingness to learn are shown.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to regional distribution centres across England and Wales.
• Collect palletised stock from local/regional suppliers.
• Trunk stock to and from other Culina group sites.
• Drive for top-tier clients with limited handball.
• Occasionally sleep overnight in a vehicle with generous allowances.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Salary

£43,452 basic + shift premiums + bonuses

Shift Patterns

• Start windows currently available
  • 15:00-18:00
  • 21:00-00:00
  • 00:00-03:00

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering palletised goods to regional distribution centres across England and Wales
• Collecting palletised stock from local/regional suppliers
• Trunking stock to and from other Culina group sites
• Driving for top-tier clients with limited handball

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Valid C+E Licence.
• Current valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Live within a 30-mile commutable distance of the site (BS11 0YH)
• Newly qualified Class 1 drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn, and have previous experience driving large vehicles.
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
