Job summary

Culina Logistics is hiring Class 1 drivers in Haverhill to transport temperature-controlled foods across the UK. Expect guaranteed hours, a modern fleet, and a comprehensive salary package.

Various shifts with day and night options, with bonuses and shift premiums for specific start times. Newly qualified drivers considered with probationary earnback at 80% of basic rate.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.

• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours & regulations.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Newly qualified drivers are welcome – earn 80% of basic salary during probation, with full rate on completion.

Job Description

Various day shift and night shift available inclusive of some weekend work.

• £42,205.68 per annum (5 on 3 off)
• £42,603.28 per annum (5 on 2 off)
• £33,856.82 per annum (4 on 4 off)

Shift Premiums:

Should your start time fall within the below time slots you will receive a shift premium of:

• 12:00-19.59: + £10.00 per shift
• 20:00-03.59: + £15.00 per shift

Overtime Rates:

• Monday to Friday: £17.24/hr
• Saturday: £20.49/hr
• Sunday: £23.30/hr

Additional Earnings:

• Driver duty premium (11+ hour shifts)
• Performance bonus
• Night out allowance: £25 per night
• Shift allowances (where applicable)

Day-to-day includes:

You’ll be responsible for transporting chilled food products (including cheese, juice, and yoghurts) using refrigerated and multi-temperature trailers.

• RDC deliveries and collections
• Drop-and-swap operations
• Occasional self-tipping
• Early morning and flexible start patterns

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Current CPC & Digital Tacho Card
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours & regulations
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
