Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for an ongoing contract based out of Stoke-On-Trent (ST4). You will trunk goods to client stores across the UK from the RDC, with up to 3 drops and 1-2 collections per shift.

Nights out are required occasionally; the role offers 40-60 hours per week, an immediate start, and the potential for Temp-to-Perm progression within a fast-growing Midlands logistics business.

Qualifications

• Hold valid Class 1 / C+E license.
• Hold valid tachograph (Tacho) and CPC cards.
• No more than 6 points on license (no DD/DR/TT/IN).
• Must have at least 12 months Class 1 experience.

Responsibilities

• Trunk goods to client stores across the UK from the RDC.
• Move to up to 3 drops and 1-2 collections per shift.
• Work an ongoing year-round contract with 40-60 hours per week.

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 driver on behalf of our client in Stoke-On-Trent (ST4).

We require HGV Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis (all year around contract). Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. Your day will generally consist of up to 3 drops and 1-2 collections. We can offer a Monday to Friday work.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

• Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
• No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s or IN’s)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
• MUST have at least 12 months experience on Class 1
• MUST be able to do nights out when/if required (might be 1-2 per week)

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:

• Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
• Long term ongoing position
• 40-60 hours per week (on average)

• 6th shift available when required
• Temp to Perm positions available for the right candidates

HGV Class 1 driver will receive:

PAYE Dynamic rates

• Days between 06:00 - 1600 £17.70 per hour
• Afternoons between 16:00 - 22:00 £19.47 per hour
• Nights between 22:00 - 06:00 £21.24 per hour
• Night out £26.20
