Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services Ltd currently advertises an ongoing position for an HGV Class 1 driver in Northampton (NN6). The role involves trunking to client stores across the UK with occasional unloading using a pump truck. Shifts include 4on 4off and start times from 03:00 to 10:00.

• Experience with unloading via pump truck is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK.
• Occasional unloading of trailers using a pump truck.
• Work on an ongoing basis from the RDC.
• Shift patterns include 4 on 4 off rolling rota; 5 out of 7.

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 driver on behalf of our client in Northampton (NN6).

We require HGV Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. On some of the deliveries drivers are required to unload the trailer using pump truck. Strapping experience would be an advantage as client has a mixture fleet.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License

No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)

Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards

MUST have at least 6 months experience on Class 1

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:

Long term ongoing position

Available shift patterns are:

4on 4 off rolling rota

Any 5 out of 7

Start times between 03:00 – 10:00

HGV Class 1 driver will receive:

PAYE rates

Days £17.66 per hour

OT after 48 weekly hours £26.49 per hour
