Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for ongoing, year‑round work based out of Stoke‑On‑Trent. You will trunk goods to client stores across the UK, with up to 3 drops and 1–2 collections per shift, typically with a Monday to Friday pattern.

You must hold a Class 1/C+E license, Tacho and CPC cards, have no more than 6 points, and at least 12 months of Class 1 experience. Night outs may be required (1–2 per week).

Qualifications

• No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s or IN’s)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
• MUST have at least 12 months experience on Class 1
• MUST be able to do nights out when/if required (might be 1-2 per week)

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 driver on behalf of our client in Stoke-On-Trent (ST4).

We require HGV Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis (all year around contract). Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. Your day will generally consist of up to 3 drops and 1-2 collections. We can offer a Monday to Friday work.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

• Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
• No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, TT’s or IN’s)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
• MUST have at least 12 months experience on Class 1
• MUST be able to do nights out when/if required (might be 1-2 per week)

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:

• Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
• Long term ongoing position
• 40-60 hours per week (on average)
• Immediate start available
• Nights out available
• 6th shift available when required
• Temp to Perm positions available for the right candidates

HGV Class 1 driver will receive:

PAYE Dynamic rates

• Days between 06:00 - 1600 £17.70 per hour
• Afternoons between 16:00 - 22:00 £19.47 per hour
• Nights between 22:00 - 06:00 £21.24 per hour
• Night out £26.20
