Job summary

Mainstay Industrial in Minworth, Birmingham is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established operation offering RDC work on a 4 on 4 off pattern.

This temp-to-perm role features 12-hour shifts, start times between 02:00 and 07:00, modern 2023+ vehicles, no handball or tipping, with potential progression to full-time permanent employment and benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum of 3 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 9 points for minor offences.
• Able to successfully complete a driving assessment.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work, all deliveries to RDCs.
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

HGV Class 1 Drivers required for excellent temp-to-perm opportunities in Minworth!

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well established operation offering simple, desirable, RDC work on 4 on, 4 off shift patterns.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a consistent rota, modern vehicles, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to secure a full-time permanent position.

Pay & Earnings

• Basic pay: £16.49 per hour +£1.00 per hour shift allowance (paid for every hour worked)
• Effective hourly rate: £17.49 per hour
• Based on guaranteed 12-hour shifts, this provides minimum annual earnings of approximately £38,300
• Overtime shifts available at time and a half
• Additional earning opportunities available through overtime

The Role

• Trunking work, all deliveries to RDCs
