Mainstay Industrial in Minworth, Birmingham, is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a temp-to-perm role on a 4 on, 4 off rota with 12-hour shifts. Trunking work to RDCs, start times between 02:00 and 07:00, and modern 2023+ vehicles with air conditioning are part of the package.

This is a genuine opportunity to move into a full-time permanent position with strong earnings potential and overtime options.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Minimum of 3 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 9 points on driving licence.
• Ability to complete a driving assessment.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work with deliveries to RDCs.
• Operate on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern with 12-hour shifts.
• Start times between 02:00 and 07:00; driver preferences accommodated where possible.
• No handball or self-tipping; modern 2023+ vehicles with air conditioning.
• Temp-to-perm opportunity with potential for full-time permanent employment.
