Job summary

Adapt Logistics Recruitment is seeking professional HGV Class 1 drivers for a Temp to Perm opportunity starting in Skelmersdale. Roles include delivering and collecting goods with a curtainsider trailer across day and night shifts on a 4 on/4 off pattern, with paid breaks and competitive annual earnings.

D PcP-certified drivers with a valid C&E licence, up to 6 minor points, and knowledge of EU driver hours and WTR rules are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 12 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Health & Safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer
• Operate across Day and Night shifts within 4 on 4 off pattern
• Comply with driver hours, WTR rules and safety protocols

TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY

4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

PAID BREAKS.

• Days - £39,936 per annum 0400-0600 start times
• Nights - £42,432 per annum 1700-1900 start times

Starting from SKELMERSDALE

Our client is looking for professional HGV Class 1 drivers to deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer. This is an opportunity to work for an established company with a supportive team, who have recently invested in a new Merceds Actros fleet.

Days is General Haulage.

Nights is Trunking Drop & Swap or live loading

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 12 months in C&E work)

• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence

• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card

• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules

• Health & Safety awareness

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
