Job summary

Adapt Logistics Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for night trunks from Crewe, starting at 2100 at the Crewe depot. The role requires fridge trailer experience or willingness to work with temperature-controlled trailers and offers a 4 on, 4 off pattern.

Hourly PAYE rates are available: £19.05 per hour including holiday, or £17.00 per hour if accrued. This ongoing position emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance, with a strong knowledge of EU hours and WTR rules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid C&E Driving licence with a minimum of 12 months in C&E work.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• CPC valid card (Driver CPC).
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Health & Safety awareness.

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER - NIGHT TRUNKS

4 ON, 4 OFF PATTERN

CREWE

2100 START

• £19.05 ph inc holiday or £17.00 ph if accrued.

Our client is looking for HGV Class1 drivers out of Crewe with experience pulling fridge trailers. This is an ongoing position on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern starting from their depot in Crewe at 2100.

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 12 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Health & Safety awareness

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
