Job summary

Adapt Logistics Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing night shifts out of Skelmersdale. This role involves nights from Monday to Friday.

Candidates must hold a valid C&E licence with at least 2 years in C&E work, a Dock Card, and a DCPC card, with 0 points on licence and knowledge of EU driver hours and WTR rules. Hourly pay is £19.61 including holiday, or £17.50 per hour if accrued, with options to accrue holiday pay within the rate.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence with at least 2 years in C&E work.
• Valid Dock Card.
• 0 points on licence.
• DCPC valid card for CPC.
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on assigned routes.
• Obey EU hours and WTR regulations and road safety procedures.
• Complete required paperwork and logs accurately.
• Work the night shift, Monday to Friday, out of Skelmersdale.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY - NIGHT SHIFTS

• £19.61ph inc holiday or £17.50ph if accrued.

Min 2 years experience and 0 points on licence.

Our HGV class 1 drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
