Job summary

Adapt Logistics Recruitment is seeking professional HGV drivers for Class 1 work in Liverpool. Shifts include Day and Night patterns with varied routes and palletised goods, typically around 10 hours per shift.

Roles require a CE licence with at least 6 months CE experience, CPC, and good knowledge of EU driver hours. PAYE rates start at £16.00–£17.93 depending on day, with enhanced weekend and holiday pay in some shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid CE licence with a minimum of 6 months in CE work

• Able to work with store personnel and maintain safety standards

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (CE) vehicles on assign routes
• Operate a PPT when required to move palletised goods
• Deliver to multiple retailers and brands; work with various routes

Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for professional HGV drivers Using a curtainsider trailer. Moving palletised goods (will need to operate a PPT). They work with many well-known retailers and brands that you will be familiar with. This job can offer a variety to each day with different routes, type of deliveries. Approx 10 hour shifts

£16.00 or £17.93 inc hol pay M-F Days

£17.00 or £19.05 inc hol pay M-F Night

£18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay Sat

£19.00 or £21.29 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores
• Health & Safety awareness

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
