Job summary

Get Staff is seeking an experienced General Haulage HGV Class 1 Left Hand Drive Driver to operate articulated vehicles across the UK from Portsmouth. The role is temporary with possible temp-to-perm progression and offers weekly pay.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, DP World Card, and a Digital Tachograph card, with up to 6 points and at least 1 year of HGV1 experience. Start times vary day by day.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held with no more than 6 points.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Experience driving left-hand-drive vehicles in the UK.
• DP World Card is required.
• Digital Tachograph card is required.
• Knowledge of UK WTD regulations and motorway network.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for general haulage across the UK.
• Complete paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Record breaks and working hours per WTD.
• Follow agency and client policies and safety standards.
• Ensure quality and professionalism.
• Communicate with customers, clients, and operations teams.
• Complete tasks efficiently within timeframes.

The Job- General Haulage HGV Class 1 (LGV1, Cat C+E) Left Hand Drive Driver

• Operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles for general haulage across the UK.

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Must have at least 1 years of experience of HGV1
• Must have a good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
