Job summary

Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for professional Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for trunking and RDC deliveries across the South West and beyond. Flexible ad-hoc day or night shifts available, with weekly PAYE pay and a supportive transport team.

Typical duties include trunking between depots and customer sites, daily checks, and ensuring tachograph regulations are followed. Local and regional routes, days and nights to suit business needs.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience with trunking or RDC deliveries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete Class 1 trunking and RDC deliveries.
• Move loaded trailers between depots, distribution centres and customer sites.
• Carry out trailer swaps where required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time and Tachograph regulations.

Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for professional Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to support a busy transport operation carrying out trunking and RDC deliveries across the South West and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for flexible ad-hoc work, with a variety of day or night shifts available.

The Role:

• Complete Class 1 trunking and RDC deliveries
• Move loaded trailers between depots, distribution centres, and customer sites
• Carry out trailer swaps where required
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately
• Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time, and Tachograph regulations
• Minimal manual handling, with the majority of loads loaded and unloaded by forklift
• Local and regional routes available
• Ad-hoc day and night shifts to suit business requirements

Pay & Benefits:

• £18.00 - £22.41 per hour (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)

What You'll Need:
