Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS IT EUROPE is recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our team in Padeswood, Wales, offering a Monday to Friday shift and a modern fleet. You will drive HGV Class 1 vehicles and manage curtain-sided deliveries with Epod tracking.

The role requires a valid LGV C+E licence, up-to-date CPC and DIGI card, and a clean licence with no more than 6 points. A 12-month experience benchmark applies; joiners receive a £500 bonus after a successful 12-week probation.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E Licence.
• An up to date CPC and DIGI card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence.
• 12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Undertake curtain-sided trailer deliveries for XPO.
• Start times from 04:00–06:00; 2 nights out a week (possible).
• Loads loaded/unloaded by site/customers.
• Deliveries tracked and signed for using Epod.

We are offering salary of £15.89 per hour. You will get a joining bonus of £500 on the completion of a successful 12-week probation period.

Working Hours

• Fixed start time between 0400 0600
• Monday Friday
• 2 nights out a week - Possibility of 2 nights out not guaranteed

What youll do on a typical day:

You will be safely driving our HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous manner

Undertake curtain sided trailer deliveries on behalf of the XPO

Start times from 0400

Some manual work may be required

All loads will be loaded/unloaded by the operating site/customers.

All deliveries will be tracked and signed for using Epod technology

What you need to succeed at XPO:
