Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS IT EUROPE is recruiting a Class 1 day driver to join the Thurrock team. You will work a 50 hour week, Monday to Friday day shifts, earning £18.23 per hour and enjoying benefits including discounts, training and a workplace pension.

Deliveries to commercial premises with a safety-focused approach, mainly timber to Jewson Merchants, while maintaining compliance and CPC requirements. Join a leading UK logistics company with strong weekend and Christmas-off options.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence held with up-to-date CPC and Digi Card.
• Max 6 penalty points with no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
• No disqualifications affecting driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to commercial premises as part of a Monday–Friday day shift.
• Operate in a safety-focused manner adhering to regulations.
• Deliver Timber to Jewson Timber Merchants as required.

You will be working a 50 hour week, working Monday to Friday day shift with a pay rate of £18.23 per hour. What youll do on a typical day:

• You will be making deliveries to commercial premises
• Work in a safety biased way, adhering to strict regulations and safety policies
• The work is Monday to Friday day shift
• Delivering Timber to primarily Jewson Timber Merchants.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E Licence
• Valid and up to date CPC and Digi Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD/DR or IN Endorsements showing
