Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS IT EUROPE in Clitheroe is seeking Class 1 drivers for a Monday to Friday shift. You will work with a modern fleet, earn £15.89 per hour for a 45-hour week, with overtime at an enhanced rate. Nights out (up to two) are paid with snap cards for parking.

Training on Epod tracking and loads may be involved. Requirements include a valid LGV C+E licence, up-to-date CPC and DIGI card, no more than 6 points, no endorsements (DD/DR/IN) and at least 12 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E Licence.
• An up to date CPC and DIGI card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements on licence.
• 12 months driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in a courteous manner.
• Deliver curtain-sided trailers for XPO.
• Loads are loaded/unloaded by site/customers; some manual work may be required.
• Deliveries tracked and signed using Epod.

Working Hours
Fixed start time between 0400 0600
Monday Friday
Up to two nights out a week - nights out are paid and snap cards provided for parking. £26.20 per night
What youll do on a typical day:
You will be safely driving our HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous manner
Youll be part of a professional driving
Undertake curtain sided trailer deliveries on behalf of the XPO
Start times from 0400 -0600
Some manual work may be required
Loads will be loaded/unloaded by the operating site/customers.
Deliveries will be tracked and signed for using Epod technology
What you need to succeed at XPO:
