Job summary

XPO Logistics Europe is hiring a full-time Class 1 HGV Night driver at our Lutterworth site. You’ll work on a Monday to Friday night shift, starting at 1800, with guaranteed 48 hours per week.

In return for your hard work, you will receive a competitive basic salary of £38440.20 along with various perks such as high-street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must have LGV / HGV C+E/Class 1 Entitlement.
• No more than 6 points on driving license.
• CPC and Digital Tacho card required.

Job description

Logistics done differently. Are you an HGV driver fed up with not knowing when you’re working next, or when your work will die down? Then look no further—XPO Logistics are recruiting! We’re looking for a full‑time, permanent Class 1 HGV Night driver to join us at our site at Lutterworth. You will be working on one of our contracts delivering car parts to dealerships.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• You will be responsible for opening each site to offload the goods.
• Returns to be loaded on the vehicle before the site is once again secured by yourself.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• LGV / HGV C+E/Class 1 Entitlement on your licence
• No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present
• CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Strong knowledge of UK road network
• An FLT licence, however, training is available for this
