Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS UK LIMITED is hiring Class 1 drivers for a Monday–Friday shift in the Clitheroe area of the United Kingdom. You will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, with a fixed start window between 04:00 and 06:00, and some nights out that are paid.

The role includes curtain-sider deliveries and potential manual tasks at times. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and enhanced overtime, with corporate benefits including discounts and 24/7 GP access.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• An up to date CPC and DIGI card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence
• 12 months experience

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and courteously
• undertake curtain-sided trailer deliveries for XPO
• Loads may be loaded/unloaded by site or customers
• Occasional manual work
• Deliveries tracked and signed via Epod technology

We are offering a hours rate of £15.89 per hour based on a 45-hour working week. Over time is paid at an enhanced rate. You will also be eligible to extensive corporate benefits, from bargain holidays and high street discounts, to 24/7 GP access with our comprehensive benefits packages.
Working Hours
Fixed start time between 0400 0600
Monday Friday
Up to two nights out a week - nights out are paid and snap cards provided for parking. £26.20 per night
What youll do on a typical day:
You will be safely driving our HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous manner
Youll be part of a professional driving
Undertake curtain sided trailer deliveries on behalf of the XPO
Start times from 0400 -0600
Some manual work may be required
Loads will be loaded/unloaded by the operating site/customers.
Deliveries will be tracked and signed for using Epod technology
What you need to succeed at XPO:
