Job summary

Culina Transport at Goole Distribution Centre in the United Kingdom is recruiting Drivers for permanent, full-time roles. We offer day and night shifts with fixed patterns and competitive hourly rates, plus meal allowance and career progression opportunities.

You will hold a valid C+E licence with up to 6 points, DCPC and Tachograph cards, and you will drive a modern fleet, with on-site health and safety compliance and buddy support for new starters.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence required.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience; New Pass drivers considered.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/DR convictions.
• DCPC & Tachograph cards valid.
• Understand drivers hours and WTD regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks; report defects.
• Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to store formats and distribution centres across the region.
• Operate fixed day and night shift patterns; weekends included.
• Maintain vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Adhere to drivers hours and WTD regulations.

Join Culina Transport at our Goole Distribution Centre, delivering to a variety of store formats and distribution centres across the region. Shift Patterns Available

We offer a range of fixed shift patterns, all of which include at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of the working week:

• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Thursday to Monday
• Friday to Tuesday

Shift Start Times

Days

• Start times between 06:00 and 09:00

Nights

• Start times between 15:00 and 22:00

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Days: £15.15 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday Days: £18.15 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
