Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers on nights for our well‑known client in Kettering. PAYE rates are published for different shifts, with up to £23.18 per hour as a top rate. The role includes night shifts and regular weekend work, with long‑term, ongoing assignment opportunities.

The driver will perform depot and store deliveries, with no break deductions. Staffline provides on‑site support, canteen facilities, and access to the staff shop, along with weekly pay and parking on site.

Qualifications

• Digi card and DQC are preferred qualifications.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Newly passed drivers welcome to apply.

Job description

Staffline is currently recruiting, HGV Class 1 drivers, on nights for our very well-known and reputable client based in Kettering.

PAYE rates for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows:

• Monday to Friday Days - £20.73 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights - £21.98 per hour
• Weekend Days - £22.73 per hour
• Weekend Nights - £23.98 per hour
• 6th shift OT - £22.50 per hour
• Bank Holiday Days - £22.73
• Bank Holiday Nights - £23.98

Shift Pattern: 04:00 - 10:00 Thursday - Sunday

Your Time at Work

As a Class 1 HGV Driver, the work will involve depot and store delivery work. No deduction of break will apply.

The site operates all year round and will provide each driver with a long-term ongoing assignment. In return for your commitment, we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you. Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply. Regular weekend work available.

We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.
