Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The role is full-time, with Monday to Friday AM start times, and weekly pay at £14.99–£16.80 per hour. Staffline operates across the UK and offers on-site support and opportunities for career progression.

Applicants should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, with at least 12 months Class 1 experience and no more than 6 points. 24/7 on-site support is provided.

• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.

Responsibilities

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rate of pay is £14.99 - £16.80 per hour.

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday with AM start times.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
