Job summary

Barker Ross, in partnership with the Royal Mail, is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for Derby EMA. Expect afternoon/evening starts with weekend availability and reliable daily hours to cover Royal Mail routes.

Applicants must pass an enhanced CRB check (we provide) and an on-site assessment. Limits on points and endorsements apply; continuous work is planned through mid-Jan with weekly bookings and pay.

Qualifications

• CRB check required (we will provide this)
• No more than 3 points on licence
• No IN10, DR10 or CD endorsements
• Must pass enhanced CRB check and on-site assessment
• Very little to no handball; shifts mostly afternoon/evening; weekend work required
• Continuous work up until mid-January; weekly bookings and pay; minimum daily hours

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 for Royal Mail on Derby routes
• Adhere to Royal Mail schedules and safety guidelines

Barker Ross are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV/LGV C+E Class 1 Drivers.

• Very little to no handball
• Class 1
• Weekend availability needed
• Most shifts are afternoon & evening start times
• CRB check required (we will provide this)
• No more than 3 points
• NO IN10, DR10 or CD endorsements
• Continuous work up until the middle of January
• Weekly bookings and pay
• Min daily hours guaranteed
• Max of 10 infringements in the last 12 months to be accepted

All drivers will need to pass an enhanced CRB check before starting and pass an assessment on site.
