Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Coventry, West Midlands. This ongoing role offers immediate starts, consistent shifts and excellent rates.

You will drive trunking and brewery deliveries on curtain-sider trailers, complete pre- and post-checks, and follow routes with no handball. Regular overtime and potential for permanent opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• Desirable: RDC delivery or curtain-sider experience.

Responsibilities

• RDC Trunking and brewery deliveries using curtain-sider trailers.
• No handball required.
• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Ensuring loads are secure and compliant.
• Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
• Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for anHGV Class 1 Driverto join our well-established client based inCoventry, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay,no handball work,paid breaks, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for long-term employment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as anHGV Class 1 Driver,LGV Class 1 Driver,Category CE Driver,Articulated Lorry DriverorClass 1 Delivery Driver.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday


• AM starts between 00:00 - 04:00 or PM starts between 14:00 - 18:00


• Regular weekend overtime available


• Long shifts available to maximise earnings

Rates of Pay

AM Shifts

• £17.86 per hour


• £22.33 per hour after 9 hours


• £35.73 per hour on the sixth shift

PM Shifts

• £19.05 per hour


• £23.81 per hour after 9 hours


• £38.11 per hour on the sixth shift
