Job summary

Resolute Recruitment is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for Rugby. This ongoing long-term role offers Monday–Friday shifts, start times around 06:00, and 47–54 hours per week, with pay £17.00 per hour.

Full training provided; new pass drivers welcome. Handball is required, with 2–5 drops per shift and occasional nights out. There is a view to permanent placement for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must have valid HGV Class 1/Category LGV C+E Driving licence.
• Must have valid in-date CPC & Digi cards.
• New Pass Drivers welcome.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must work well with others and as an individual.
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences).

Responsibilities

• Make 2-5 drops per shift.

Class 1 HGV Driver Pay rates:

• £17.00 per Hour Dependent on Experience

Class 1 HGV Driver Job role:

• Class 1 Drivers will make 2-5 drops per shift.
• Handball is required in this role.
• Full training provided.
• Occasional nights out required.
• Long Term role, with a view to permanent for the correct candidate.

Class 1 HGV Driver Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 07:00 Start Times
