Job summary

Veolia is seeking a driver at Colwick Transfer Station, Nottingham, NG4 2JU. The role involves operating a large UK fleet to serve local communities with essential waste services.

You will work a 48-hour week with 4 on 2 off rota, starting around 6am. Overtime paid at 1.5x. 22 days annual leave and pension access are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• CPC certification must be up to date.
• Digi/Tachograph card held and current.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensure all information is input into the onboard system and paperwork is up to date daily.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle per the driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and regulations including load weights.

What you'll be doing

• With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.
