Job summary

Veolia is looking for a professional driver at Colwick Transfer Station, Nottingham. The role involves delivering and emptying waste containers, recording all data in the onboard system, and daily document submission. Typical hours are average 48 per week with a 4 on/2 off rota, starting early mornings.

We offer 22 days of annual leave, a pension scheme, and access to health and wellbeing resources. Overtime paid at 1.5x for over the standard hours.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) License valid and up to date.
• Digi/Tachograph card current and valid.
• Driver CPC qualification held and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including weight of loads.
