Kinaxia Logistics is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver in Carlisle for a permanent role with immediate starts. The position offers competitive earnings and flexible shift patterns, reflecting the company’s commitment to its drivers’ success.

You will deliver and collect goods while maintaining high customer service standards. Essential requirements include a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and compliance with EU hour rules.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of EU Driver Hours and Road Transport Regulations.
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work safely, responsibly, and independently.

Responsibilities

• Completing customer deliveries and collections across various locations.
• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks using the mobile app.
• Reporting any vehicle defects promptly.
• Maintaining regular communication with the Transport Team regarding delays, incidents or operational issues.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours, road transport and health and safety regulations.

About the Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting goods safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service throughout your journey.

Your Responsibilities:

• Completing customer deliveries and collections across various locations.
• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks using our mobile app.
• Reporting any vehicle defects promptly.
• Maintaining regular communication with the Transport Team regarding delays, incidents, or operational issues.
• Ensuring compliance with all driver hours, road transport, and health and safety regulations.
• Representing Kinaxia professionally when interacting with customers and colleagues.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of EU Driver Hours and Road Transport Regulations
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work safely, responsibly, and independently

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 12 months' UK HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No TT, DD, or DR endorsements
