Hiregiant (South West) Ltd is seeking an HGV Class 1 Day Driver for ongoing work in Avonmouth, Bristol. Starting at 7am, typical shifts run 9–10 hours, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on weekends.

Qualifications

Hiregiant are currently looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team in Avonmouth, Bristol, you will be driving a Class 1 vehicle completing trailer swaps. Starting at 7am a typical shift could be up to 9 or 10 hours, working Monday to Friday. You will need to check the load is secure, complete vehicle checks and complete paperwork. However, no handball and no heavy lifting will be involved.

This is a good opportunity for ongoing HGV Class 1 driving work, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role, working with a great team and a company who value their employees.

Hours and pay

• £17 per hour paid weekly every Friday.
• Working Monday to Friday starting at 7am and usually working 9 to 10 hours.
• Optional overtime available on weekends, paid at an enhanced rate.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.
• Valid Tacho and CPC.
• Safety boots and high viz.
• An understanding of health and safety.
