Job summary

Hiregiant (South West) Ltd in Warmley, Bristol, is seeking a Class 1 HGV Flatbed Driver. You will drive a flatbed vehicle, completing 4–6 drops or collections, with starts at 7am and finishes around 4pm, Monday to Friday. You may also drive smaller 7.5t or 3.5t vehicles as needed.

The role requires securing loads, performing vehicle checks, and completing paperwork, with minimal handball due to forklift assistance. Great team and employee-focused company culture offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E category is required.
• Tacho and CPC licences are mandatory.
• Safety boots and high-visibility clothing are expected.
• Understanding of health and safety rules is essential.

Responsibilities

• Secure and strap loads and prepare paperwork.
• Conduct vehicle checks and routine maintenance tasks.
• Operate Class 1, with occasional driving of 7.5t or 3.5t vehicles.
• Complete 4–6 drops/collections per shift and work Monday to Friday.
• Start at 7:00 and typically finish around 16:00; weekly pay.

Excellent opportunity for an HGV Class 1 Flatbed Driver based in Warmley, Bristol.

Permanent Class 1 HGV Driving. Paid as a Class 1 Driver but driving either Class 1, Class 2, 7.5 Tonne or 3.5 Tonne.

Hiregiant hare an exciting vacancy for a Class 1 HGV Flatbed Driver to join the team in Warmley, Bristol. You will be driving a Flatbed vehicle, usually completing 4 to 6 drops or collections, starting at 7am and usually finished by 4pm, working Monday to Friday.

You will need to strap and secure the load, complete vehicle checks and complete paperwork. However, minimal handball will be involved as the truck is loaded and mostly unloaded for you by Forklift.

You will be paid as a Class 1 Driver, however will be required to sometimes drive our smaller 7.5 Tonne or 3.5 Tonne vehicles. This is a great opportunity for ongoing Class 1 HGV driving work, working with a great team and a company who value their employees.

Hours and pay

• Working Monday to Friday starting at 7am and usually working 9 hours.


• £16.75 per hour paid weekly every Friday.
