Job summary

CTRG is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for immediate starts in Crewe. Roles include trunking and store work with flexible shifts, including AM/PM and various patterns. Immediate starts and both full-time and part-time options are available.

You must hold a valid UK C+E licence with at least 2 years of Class 1 driving, DCPC and digital tachograph processing, and be able to comply with drivers hours and WTD rules. CT RG provides weekly pay and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK C+E licence with at least 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience.
• DCPC qualification and digital tachograph knowledge.
• Ability to follow Driver's hours and WTD legislation and perform vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on trunking or store work.
• Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete shifts as per patterns; both FT and PT roles available.

Location: Crewe

Pay Rate: up to £28.48 per hour

Days: £19.55

Nights: £20.78

Sixth shift incentive:£28.48 Job Type: Ongoingwork, Weekly bookings, Trunking work or Store work.

Shifts: Various shift patterns available including Monday to Friday. Both AM & PM start times available. Adhoc or FT roles available to suit.

About You:

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence with Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience required
• DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph

• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude
