Job summary

CTRG is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for Crewe. Immediate starts available with trunking or store work. Various patterns, including Monday–Friday, with ad hoc or full-time roles.

Requirements include a UK Class 1 licence (2+ years), DCPC and Digital Tachograph, and a strong understanding of drivers’ hours and safety checks. Excellent communication and flexible attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence with Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience required.
• DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate trunking or store work as required.
• Follow shift patterns including Monday to Friday and ad hoc/FT options.
• Adhere to safety and reporting procedures for defects or incidents.

Pay Rate: up to £32.04 per hour
