Quality Service Recruitment Limited requires a Class 1 driver for temp, ongoing work in the UK. You will complete temperature controlled deliveries, seal/unseal back doors, monitor refrigeration units, and report issues to the depot.

Ideal candidates hold a UK licence with C+E, a valid CPC card, and understand working hours directives. Start times range from 14:00 to 17:00, with 10-hour shifts and no visa sponsorship offered.

Formación

• Full UK Driving Licence with C+E entitlement.
• Minimum 12 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Strong and coherent understanding of driver’s working hours and working time directive.

The duties within this Class 1 role include

• Completing temperature controlled deliveries
• Sealing and unsealing back doors
• Monitoring the refrigeration unit
• Reporting temperature issues to the depot
• Trunking to RDC or NDC, no multi drop
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers

The ideal candidate for this role will need:

• A full UK Drivers Licence with a C+E entitlement.
• A minimum of 12 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK
• a valid Driver CPC Card
• a strong and coherent understanding of driver’s working hours and working time directive.

You must not have anymore than 6 points on your licence.

This is a temporary, but ongoing position

Start times are between 1400 and 1700 each day.

Shift lengths are approximately 10 hours.

We have 2 options for rate of Pay.

Umbrella £20.50 per hour for first 8 and £26 per hour after.

PAYE £17.10 for the first 8 and £22.59 per hour after. 28 days holiday pro rata on PAYE.
