Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) drivers to support a range of clients across the region, with ongoing and casual assignments in days, nights, weekends, ad-hoc work, and full-time hours.

You will operate a variety of trailers, perform multi-drop duties, ensure loads are secured, and comply with transport legislation while delivering a professional, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence.
• Holds a current Driver CPC qualification.
• Holds a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Understands drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a range of Class 1 vehicles and trailer types, including refrigerated, curtain side, flatbed, and tipper trailers.
• Completing deliveries and collections in line with planned schedules.
• Carrying out multi-drop and trunking work, depending on the assignment.
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured and transported safely.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with all transport legislation.
• Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers.
• Delivering a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

HGV Drivers

As we continue to support a range of clients across the region, we are looking to recruit experienced Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing and casual assignments. Opportunities are available across a variety of shift patterns, including days, nights, weekends, ad-hoc work, and full-time hours.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Safely operating a range of Class 1 vehicles and trailer types, including refrigerated, curtain side, flatbed, and tipper trailers.
• Completing deliveries and collections in line with planned schedules.
• Carrying out multi-drop and trunking work, depending on the assignment.
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured and transported safely.

Requirements

To be considered, applicants must have:

Desirable
