Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced Class 1 night driver for an Eastleigh-based, full-time role. Shifts start at 18:00 with guaranteed hours, driving a double decker curtain sider to Burton on Trent and back each night.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, reporting delays to the night manager and maintaining professional conduct. Applicants should have 2 years of commercial driving experience.

• Drive up to Burton on Trent each night to unload and return.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift.

• Salary £45,000 per year with potential overtime.
• 2 years commercial driving experience preferred.

FULL TIME C+E NIGHT DRIVER - £45,000

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf our client for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh. This role is a full time job doing 12-16 weeks through the agency.

Salary: £45,000 per year
Start Time: 06:00pm
Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours, 5 nights per week

Details of the role

• Working Monday to Friday 06:00pm
• You will drive up to Burton on Trent every night to unload and back
• Drivers must complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• The vehicle will be a double decker curtain sider
• You must be patient and report any issues or delays to the night manager
• The basic annual salary is £45,000 per annum with opportunities of overtime
• Drivers ideally should have 2 years commercial driving experience
