Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh for a full-time role delivering and returning nightly, with a 12-6 schedule through the agency.

Salary is £45,000 per year with overtime opportunities; you will complete pre- and post-shift vehicle checks, hold a valid UK C+E licence, CPC and Digi Card, and drive the double decker curtain sider to Burton on Trent and back each night.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK C+E licence.
• CPC and Digi Card valid.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 night routes, nights only, base in Eastleigh.
• Complete pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Report issues to the night manager.

Job description

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf our client for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh.

This role is a full time job doing 12-6 weeks through the agency.

Salary: £45,000 per year

Start Time: 06:00pm

Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours, 5 nights per week

Details of the role

• Working Monday to Friday 06:00pm
• You will drive up to Burton on Trent every night to unload and back
• Drivers must complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• The vehicle will be a double decker curtain sider
• You must be patient and report any issues or delays to the night manager
• The basic annual salary is £45,000 per annum with opportunities of overtime
• Drivers ideally should have 2 years commercial driving experience
• Full UK C+E Licence
• Valid CPC & Digi Card
• Reliable, professional attitude
• On-site parking
• Ongoing work, Monday to Friday
• Full time role
