Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh. This is a full-time role running for 12-16 weeks through the agency, with a 18:00 start and guaranteed hours. The basic salary is £45,000 per year with overtime available. You will drive to Burton on Trent each night to unload and return, complete vehicle checks, and report delays to the night manager. A Full UK C+E licence, CPC and Digi Card are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid UK C+E licence.
• CPC and Digi Card valid.
• Reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive up to Burton on Trent to unload and return each night.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Report issues or delays to the night manager.
• Ongoing Monday to Friday night shifts.

Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours, 5 nights per week

Details of the role

• Working Monday to Friday 06:00pm
• You will drive up to Burton on Trent every night to unload and back
• Drivers must complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• The vehicle will be a double decker curtain sider
• You must be patient and report any issues or delays to the night manager
• The basic annual salary is £45,000 per annum with opportunities of overtime
• Drivers ideally should have 2 years commercial driving experience
• Full UK C+E Licence
• Valid CPC & Digi Card
• Reliable, professional attitude
• On-site parking
• Ongoing work, Monday to Friday
• Full time role
