Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh for a client.

This temporary-to-permanent role starts at 18:00 with five nights per week and guaranteed hours. You will drive a double decker curtain sider to Burton on Trent to unload, with overtime opportunities where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Must hold a Full UK C+E licence.
• CPC and Digi Card valid.

Responsibilities

• Drive nightly to Burton on Trent to unload and return.
• Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Report delays to the night manager.
• Maintain reliable, professional conduct.

Job description

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf our client for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh.

This role is a temporary to permanent with the potential to go full time with a contract.

Salary: £45,000 per year

Start Time: 06:00pm

Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours, 5 nights per week

Details of the role

Working Monday to Friday 06:00pm

You will drive up to Burton on Trent every night to unload and back

Drivers must complete vehicle checks before and after each shift

The vehicle will be a double decker curtain sider

You must be patient and report any issues or delays to the night manager

The basic annual salary is £45,000 per annum with opportunities of overtime

Drivers ideally should have 2 years commercial driving experience

Full UK C+E Licence

Valid CPC & Digi Card

Reliable, professional attitude
