Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh. This full-time role runs 12-6, with guaranteed hours of 10 hours, 5 nights per week, and overtime opportunities. Start time is 06:00pm.

You will drive a double decker curtain sider, complete vehicle checks before and after each shift, and report delays to the night manager. Salary is £45,000 per year, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E Licence required.
• CPC & Digi Card required.
• 2 years commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicle and perform pre/post trip checks.
• Complete nightly trips to Burton on Trent and return.
• Report issues to night manager.
• Attend night shifts 18:00 start, working Mon-Fri.
• Overtime opportunities.

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf our client for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh. This role is a full time job doing 12-6 weeks through the agency.

Salary: £45,000 per year

Start Time: 06:00pm

Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours, 5 nights per week

Details of the role:

• Working Monday to Friday 06:00pm
• You will drive up to Burton on Trent every night to unload and back
• Drivers must complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• The vehicle will be a double decker curtain sider
• You must be patient and report any issues or delays to the night manager
• The basic annual salary is £45,000 per annum with opportunities of overtime
• Drivers ideally should have 2 years commercial driving experience
