Job summary

Swift Temps South West is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Driver in Gloucester. This full-time role offers an immediate start with early starts from around 06:45 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work and the potential to secure a permanent position.

You will drive a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes, assist the team with daily collections, and perform vehicle checks in line with health and safety procedures. Competitive pay and ongoing work are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (depending on offence code).
• Ideally 1 year’s Category C licence holding.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.

We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Drivers to join a busy and friendly team in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned routes.
• Working alongside the refuse collection team to complete daily collections safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

Requirements

To be considered, you'll need:
