Job summary

Swift Temps South West in Gloucester is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Driver for an ongoing, full-time role with the potential to progress to a permanent position and immediate starts available.

You will drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned routes, support the refuse team to complete daily collections safely and efficiently, and perform vehicle checks in line with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification needed.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points (depending on offence code).
• Ideally, at least 1 year of Category C licence holding.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.

We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Drivers to join a busy and friendly team in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned routes.
• Working alongside the refuse collection team to complete daily collections safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

What's on Offer

• £17.05 per hour
• Monday to Friday no weekend work
• Early starts with early finishes (approximately 06:45 15:00)
• Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent
• Immediate starts available

Requirements

To be considered, you'll need:

• A full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence

• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
