Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd is hiring an experienced Class 1 Day driver to join our client’s busy distribution centre in Gloucester. You will trunk palletised and caged stock between depots and retail clients across the UK, with occasional collections.

Typical shifts are around 9 hours, Monday to Friday, starting around 09:00. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with no more than six points on their licence.

Qualifications

HGV Class 1 licence with valid CPC and tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence.
Experience: 6 months Class 2 driving experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Trunking and delivering palletised and caged stock between depots and retail clients.
Deliveries to fixed hubs and centres across the UK; collections may be scheduled.
Ensure load security and safe operation during shifts.
