Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client based in Bradford BD5. The role involves trunking deliveries across the UK, ensuring punctual and secure transport while adhering to safety protocols.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with CPC certification and a Tacho card, with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and no more than 6 points on their licence. Job offers include weekly pay and on-site facilities.

Job description

Staffline is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client based in Bradford BD5.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in HGV driving is required for this role.

PAYE rates as below:

• Days 05:45 - 18:00 - £19.50 Per Hour
• Nights 18:00 - 05:45 - £21.77 Per Hour
• O/T Days (After 8 hours daily) - £29.25 Per Hour
• O/T Nights (After 8 hours daily) - £31.52 Per Hour
• Bank Holidays - £58.20 Per Hour

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver the role mainly consists of Class 1 Trunking operations:

• Transporting goods to various locations across the UK.
• Guarantee punctual and secure delivery of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols.
• Cooperate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines effectively.
• Accurately document deliveries and fulfil essential paperwork obligations.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card.
• Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver (2 years minimum).
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
• No more than 6 points on the licence.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsement codes.
• Able to undertake trunking and store deliveries, including tail lift operations.
• Able to pull double deck trailers.
